I was at an amusement park eating ice cream and sitting alone waiting for my friend when I turned around and made eye contact with these 3 boys. They came over and sat with me a few minutes later and introduced themselves and then started singing to me. It turns out they were in a band. We ended up hanging out for a while because my friend wasn't back yet, and I kept texting her. At one point, one of the boys that I thought was the cutest said "I'm the same way, I always worry about my friends when they don't respond and think something awful happened. I just care about them a lot." And I said, "Me too. I always think the worst like they've been kidnapped or something." And then he laughed and said "Yeah same haha!" And then he got up and started to come over to me, but at that moment the girl next to me (who was also one of my friends) dropped ice cream into and I frantically threw it up in the air. We ended up cleaning it and the boy sat down awkwardly while he waited for us to be done. Then they realized they had to get going so they all said, "Hey, can we get your number so we can maybe all hang out again? We could go to that concert show together maybe. With your mom too." I thought the last part was weird because I wondered if they thought I was too young, when I'm actually in my 20s. I said sure to the number and handed them my phone. They very quickly had to type in their numbers and leave, and I was sad because I wish I had told the cute one I liked him or went back and found him and kissed him (even though I haven't had my first kiss). But they had disappeared and I woke up from my dream and now I'm sad because I know that would literally never happen for me.
